Call for Abstracts Submission Form Checklist

Status Notification

Notification of your proposal status will be sent by Friday, November 14, 2022. Please hold the dates of February 28 - March 2, 2023, until you are notified of the status of your submission.

Submission Requirements

Submissions MUST include the following information:

  • Contact information for all presenters involved in the session being proposed.
  • Session title (maximum of 150 characters)
  • Abstracts are limited to 2,000 characters and must include the following information: Objective, Methods (for a performance this must relate to the method of the performance, e.g., dance, poem, song, etc.), Outcomes, Conclusion.
  • All submissions must be made through the Call for Abstracts website.

We anticipate being able to accept less than half of the abstract proposals being submitted, based on past experience. Due to the level of interest in presenting abstracts and constraints of the symposium schedule, some worthy proposals may not be accepted. Choosing the appropriate abstract topic, and ensuring all items on the application are carefully addressed, will increase the chance of acceptance. Selection will be determined by the Scientific Committee on the basis of:
  1. Scientific quality
  2. Theme representation
  3. Appropriateness of the format
  4. Relevance to research in integrative medicine and health
  5. Number of presentation slots available
